LoNoteMusic have been providing professional training services in a number of software and hardware packages for over a decade. Specialising in Avid Sibelius music notation software, we can also provide training in a large range of other software, such as MS Office 2003/07/10, Smartboard, Serif Photo/Web, Photoshop, Audacity, Pro-Tools, plus many more.

 

I.T. Training

All of our training is tailored to suit the needs and requirements of the trainees in the room, rather than simply delivering a generic training package. This ensures that we meet our primary goal, that everyone leaves the room having learned how to do what they want/need to do with the software.

Individuals or groups of any size

Of course, you may not require, or have the facilities for a full day’s hands-on training for all of your staff. We are more than happy to provide a demonstration of any or all of the products you see on the site.
You dont need to have the software already, we bring it with us, along with a laptop and speakers. All you need to provide is a suitable room for the demo to take place, and some tea and coffee (it’s thirsty work!).
If a data projector and/or SmartBoard are required, we can provide those as well, but experience tells us that it is usually easier if you have them already at the establishment, that we use yours. Contact Us if you’re not sure...

Software Demonstration Service

We are more than happy to work with a room full of trainees, and in fact have recently completed a full-day training session for some 75 trainees! However, we are also happy to
work with smaller groups, for example a Music Department of 3 or 4, or an Instructor force of 10 - 20. The wide-ranging requirements of larger groups like this are always catered for, as everyone will need different things from the software.
However, we specialise in training individuals on a one-to-one basis, either face to face, or remotely over the internet. We make use of remote-control software that allows us to see and if necessary control your machine. This means that you can be located anywhere in the world, and still benefit first-hand from our knowledge and experience.

Avid / Sibelius official demonstrator/trainer

Martin Thomson, owner of LoNoteMusic, has been an official Sibelius demonstrator and trainer for over a decade now, and his skills have recently been recognised by Sibelius’ new parent company AVID, creators of professional-level audio and video software such as Pro-Tools Pinnacle Studio and Avid Studio, in addition to the full range of M-Audio hardware. During 2011, Martin could be found on Avid stands in Utrecht, Stockholm and Oslo. He can also be seen in the photo on the left rockin’ at the Scottish Learning Festival here in Glasgow in September.
